    Practice Areas

The Keney Park Golf Course now features a brand new Golf Range that has golfers hitting practice shots into the area of Keney park once nicknamed as the Sheep’s Meadow.

The new golf range will have approximately 10,000 square feet of natural turf hitting area, along with over 1,200 square feet of artificial turf to use when needed due to maintenance needs or weather conditions.

Golf Balls for the range can be purchased at the range ball dispenser near the practice putting green at a rate of $5 for a small bucket and $9 for a large.

The practice putting green has been completely rebuilt and expanded to nearly 7,000 square feet.

The green is still located next to the clubhouse terrace and first tee area, it has a number of slopes that will provide a realistic experience whether you are warming up for your round or honing your skills with a practice session.

Another new addition to the facility is the short game practice area located just behind the golf range tee area and covering about 5,000 square feet in total.

There is a 2,000 square foot green to which you can attempt various short game shots up to about 30 yards in length. Different positions around the green have grass mowed at fairway and rough heights, and there is even a practice bunker so golfers can improve their sand shots!
